There aren't too many men out there that would consider throwing a punch at Floyd Mayweather Jr., but rapper T.I. must have been seeing red when he went all out on the boxer outside a burger joint on the Las Vegas strip on Sunday, May 25.

TMZ has obtained the video of the monster clash that seems to have been sparked by jealousy. You see, T.I. got the idea that Mayweather was out to steal his wife, Tamke “Tiny” Cottle, after she had posted a photo on Instagram with Floyd's daughter.

It was from this that T.I. decided that Mayweather, who is actually a good friend, wanted to hit on his wife, which was sufficient cause to punch him. The two locked horns in an altercation that resulted in a lot of bad words and chairs being thrown around, but no permanent damage was done.

Both T.I.'s and Floyd's bodyguards tried to separate the two men, which is the main reason why the fight didn't escalate further. In a video obtained by TMZ, you can clearly hear Floyd shouting at the rapper, “control your [expletive], mother-[expletive]!”

Police showed up quickly, but, by that time, both the rapper and the boxer had left the venue. Only one man suffered a minor injury in the scuffle but he refused to receive treatment or to cooperate with police.

Insiders reported that Floyd was very upset with the false accusations and felt that T.I. got everything all wrong, since it was his wife that had suggested they meet up in Las Vegas, hence the comment about controlling his wife from the video.

Tiny was not present on the scene when the fight broke out, she was in another part of Las Vegas, but that didn't stop her husband from confronting Mayweather and starting an altercation. Her photo with Mayweather's girl, whom she called her “new boo,” led T.I. to believe that there was more than just a friendship between the two.

Later, Mayweather described the incident, “I throw my daughter [Iyanna] a big [14th] birthday bash today. I’m eating at Fatburger and next thing you know, he walk in talking about we need to talk again. And then I told him, ‘You need to get the [expletive] outta my face. That’s what you better do.’ And then he said, ‘I ain’t talking to all these people so you ain’t gotta talk loud.’”

“I said, ‘Listen, don’t come to my face with no disrespectful [expletive]. Like I told you before, you must’ve forgot what I did for a living.’ He said, ‘You do in the ring, I do it in the streets.’ I said, ‘My man, I do it everywhere. You can find out if you want to.’ Just like that,” the boxer continued his depiction.

Now, it seems the two have patched things up, as Mayweather has apologized for his mean words in the burger joint but he has warned that T.I should “talk to her about that, don’t talk to me about that.”
