Fresh off a one year and a day jail sentence, rapper T.I. is back in prison for another 11 months on charges stemming from his September 2010 arrest, when drugs were found in his possession. In a post on his website, T.I. explains how he feels he’s come at the end of the road.

While he’s no stranger to the penitentiary system, the rapper is really frustrated at having to go back to jail again. Not that he believes he doesn’t deserve it or anything along those lines – he just wishes he’d done things differently.

In a post published on his website, T.I. explains how angry and upset he is at having to go back to jail, saying he’d rather he’d done more consecutive years instead of going in and out on various charges.

However, there’s a silver lining to the cloud in the rapper’s promise that no child of his would ever have to go through the same. Aware that part of his problems stem from coming from a broken home, T.I. takes responsibility for his faults and promises not to wrong his kids the same way he was wronged.

“I don’ t know what effect this will have on my life moving forward but I’m certainly sick and [expletive] tired of going to jail, juve, prison, the pen, correctional facilities or whatever else you want to call it,” T.I. writes.

“I’d have been better off doing a 5-10 year bid one time than going in time and time again for days, weeks and months for the last 15 years of my life,” he adds.

He goes on to explain how he believes the lack of a father figure pushed him down this path, while being very adamant that he’s not making up excuses for his past behavior.

“A lot of folks had fathers or father figures in the house to raise them into manhood. I’m not trying to make any excuses for my situation but my father was a hustler that lived in New York,” T.I. writes.

“My uncle was a local big time dope boy turned 10 year federal inmate. My mother and grandparents did the best they could but I found my manhood in the trap and in prison systems. But I found it,” he adds.

“And nan one of mine will ever have to feel the cold tight grip of a handcuff or grace the presence of a jail cell if I can help it. Over my dead body! So if you can’t respect that you ain’t rocking with my movement then [expletive] you dog!” T.I. concludes by saying.
