The latest food craze to come out of New York is the Ramen burger, and people are lining up to get it.

News Australia documents that the ramen burger has only been offered three times until now, and hundreds waited to get one.

“This is kind of like the new Cronut, and I want to experience it first," describes 21-year-old Danielle Cheng, who spent a night in Manhattan just to get a bite of the dish.

The burger was invented by former computer programmer Keizo Shimamoto, who also keeps a blog about Ramen.

He only prepared 300 burgers for his Saturday offering of the Ramen delight. He served them on the Williamsburg waterfront, and they were gone fast.

Many people waited in line just to be told that they would not get the chance to try out the meal.
