There is a new drive enclosure up for sale, or there soon will be, one that Raidon created for those who want to use more than one storage unit at a time but over the same connection.

The Runner R2420-B3, detailed here, hasn't been given a price yet, but Raidon did provide most other relevant info.

Essentially, it is a dual-drive enclosure that links one or two SATA 3 Gbps 2.5-inch HDDs or SSDs to a PC over USB 3.0.

The drives can operate in RAID 0 (performance setting), RAID 1 (for redundancy) and JBOD, depending on how the back DIP switches are set.

Either way, the units are held inside by caddies and release the units immediately when the lids are opened (push to eject).

Raidon Runner R2420-B3 weighs 490 grams and measures 174 x 105 x 33 mm (6.85 x 4.13 x 1.29 inches).
