Keeps teasing us

At one point earlier this year, HP and its Voodoo PC brand were said to be working on yet another innovative computer system that would probably end up joining Voodoo's Omen desktop and Envy portable PC. Most of the rumors were rooted in a blog post from Rahul Sood, Voodoo PC founder and HP's current Chief Technology Officer of the Voodoo Business Unit, who mentioned three Voodoo products, but failed to further detail them.

The anticipation surrounding the new product is more than justified, as Voodoo PC is known for its state-of-the art computer systems. The most recent examples are the Omen desktop and the Envy notebook PCs, which have caught the attention of the media within minutes after their official launch. A third product that will be the result of the HP and the Voodoo team can only provide more excitement, especially when Rahul Sood uses words such as “forward-thinking” when referring to it, or when he vouches that the industry will “absolutely embrace it.”

These are the exact words that Sood used in a recent video, where he answered questions related to HP's current Blackbird 002 and its evolution from the 001 model. He also mentioned that he was very thrilled about the new product and that, unfortunately, he could not reveal it to the public just yet. Although his words might be just another way by which HP tries to further increase the anticipation surrounding the new product, it's rather obvious that we might soon be faced with yet another new Voodoo-branded product.

The high levels of secrecy around this thing are almost unbelievable, as no details or even unofficial photos of the product have leaked so far. However, what we do get is being constantly teased by Mr. Sood, who, as it happens, is in no position to reveal any detail as to what we should be expecting from the highly anticipated Voodoo product.

We can only hope that HP and Voodoo will soon come to the realization and the decision to reveal what they have been working on for such a long time.
