No sooner did Rage, the new game from id Software, get released that PC players ran into a whole bunch of performance and graphics issues, some of which may or may not be addressed by AMD's special driver.

AMD released the Catalyst 11.9 WHQL graphics driver not long ago, but it saw the need to launch a special software package for the Rage shooter (get it here).

This driver is supposed to enable significant performance improvements on AMD Radeon 5000 and 6000 series graphics adapters. It also has the newest OpenGL driver component for Rage performance boosts.

Basically, AMD promises a significant performance gain in computers with just one graphics card, though it only works on Windows 7.
