The users are criticizing YouTube for ignorance

Shahid Malik, MP for Dewsbury, accused the online video sharing service for ignorance because several racist clips were published on the page and remained available for a long period of time. Although the clip was quickly removed from the page, Shahid Malik sustains YouTube doesn't try to stop this kind of clips from appearing on the official page of the product. He had only one requirement for the parent company Google: to ban everyone who uploads this kind of clips, and block future attempts to post videos.

"It's sickening that this material was on the net for three weeks with a potential audience of millions, including children. I am in little doubt that the author of the content is guilty of a criminal act and the police are now investigating the matter. What amazes me is that while YouTube have removed the video clip, they have allowed this individual and other racist clips to remain on their site, leaving the user free to continue spreading poison and inciting violence and racial hatred. YouTube must now move to ban this user and clean up their act," he said according to Scotland on Sunday.

As you probably know, this is not the first time when the Mountain View company Google is involved into this kind of dispute after controversial clips are posted on its page. In the past, YouTube was accused by the Turkish authorities for publishing clips that were insulting the nation, the entire case being ended with a ban for the entire video sharing service. A similar case was reported in Thailand where YouTube was blocked after numerous videos insulting the king were published. After several days of unavailability, YouTube agreed to remove some of the clips although it first considered that they are not infringing the service's guidelines.
