14 DAY TRIAL // Rachel Bilson, one of Hollywood’s favorite rising fashion icons and an extremely adorable presence wherever she goes, is reportedly engaged with longtime boyfriend Hayden Christensen of the “Star Wars” fame. As of now, no wedding date has yet been set, but the couple is said to be over the moon for finally taking this huge step in the right direction, various sources are telling the US media.
PageSix was the first to break the story, while People magazine confirmed it afterwards, also citing sources close to the couple. Representatives for either actor refused to make any comments on their clients’ personal life – however, if there is any truth to this rumor, chances are either Rachel or Hayden will make a public statement anytime soon, it is being said.
“Will wedding bells be ringing soon for Rachel Bilson? A PageSix spy spotted Bilson on a Virgin America flight from LA to JFK Monday night with her mom and tells us the actress is engaged to longtime beau Hayden Christensen. ‘A man sitting in front of her on the plane saw a ring on her finger and asked if she was married,’ said our snitch, who overheard Bilson reply, ‘I’m not married yet, just engaged. I know I look like I’m 15, but I’m actually 27’.” PageSix writes in its latest edition.
Sources for People magazine seem to confirm the initial story, saying that, indeed, the two stars did get engaged over the holidays. They are not planning anything big right now, though, as they haven’t yet thought this through, and neither are they in a rush to walk to the altar. Both Rachel and Hayden are extremely happy about the engagement, the sources are claiming.
“They’re so excited. They’re a great couple. Rachel seems thrilled beyond belief.” an unnamed pal reveals for People magazine. Rachel and Hayden, who starred together in “Jumper” (2008), have been dating for quite some time now, but have always managed to keep their romance out of the public eye, much unlike other stars of today.
