Demao launches with real prizes

The game fighting against Gran Turismo for the number one racing game spot, Race Driver: GRID has recently received a demo, available on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. But Codemasters probably considered that a game as wonderful as GRID deserves much more than a demo before its official release, so they have decided to put a BMW 3-series up for grabs (the real car, not an unlockable one from the game).

This means that, if you want to enter the competition, you only have to download the game demo and start playing. You can of course try all the tracks available but you'd probably like to focus more on Jarama - that's the one that matters for the competition. In order to give everybody a fair chance, but only keep the best of the best fighting for the grand prize, only the top five drivers of the Time Trial mode (Jarama circuit) will be selected for a final deathmatch at the zavvi store, Oxford Street, London - on the 30th of May, when the game gets released in Europe. For even more details about the competition, check out the official website.

Of course, there is a slight possibility you won't get a time good enough to reach the final, but you shouldn't worry. Indeed, you do lose the chance of winning a BMW 3-series, but you will still be allowed to play a great game. The demo offers single player GRID World events, 12-player online multiplayer races and, of course, the Time Trial mode that will probably be the most played these days. It will be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles as well as PC systems, with a Nintendo DS version following shortly. And, who knows? Maybe it's not the last BMW 3-series offered by Codemasters, so keep training!
