Offers an overview of the main enhancements in this OS release

Following the release of the latest operating system flavor for the BlackBerry PlayBook, namely OS 2.0, Research In Motion pushed on the web video promos to offer us a glimpse at what the software has to offer.

The new platform release was made available for download several hours ago, with new social networking capabilities, along with built-in email, contacts and calendar applications.

The video embedded above was meant specifically to provide us with a glimpse at some of these capabilities, including email with Twitter, Facebook and LinedIn integration, or the new calendar capabilities.

Another important enhancement in PlayBook OS 2.0 is the ability to remotely control the device through a BlackBerry smartphone, and this is exactly what the video below is meant to underline.
