Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion has just announced that registration for its BlackBerry World event is now open, and event that now incorporates the Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES).

The BlackBerry World 2011 is set to be held in Orlando, FL., between May 3-5, and those interested in joining the event can head over to the special website the company put in place for it, here.

According to a recent post on the Inside Blackberry for Business Blog, those who will register for the conference soon would enjoy a $400 saving off the full conference pass.

“If you buy at the early bird rate you’ll save $400 off the full conference pass – but this special rate ends February 25th, so be sure to buy your conference pass before the prices go up,” the said blog post reads.

“As a new offer this year – because we know people have busy schedules – you now have the option to purchase a one-day pass for Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (your choice), if you cannot make it for all three days.”

According to the said post, the move from WES to BlackBerry World also marks a shift in focus for the mobile phone maker.

“We’re calling BlackBerry World a “360-degree view of all things BlackBerry,” which speaks to the broad range of BlackBerry topics that you’ll be able to explore,” the blog post continues.

At the same time, RIM plans on making BlackBerry World a place where people can learn more on topics that interest them, including applications, technical trainings for IT administrators, and more.

“You’ll get the answers to all these questions at BlackBerry World, along with all the hands-on time you can handle with the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet and our full range of BlackBerry smartphones,” the company continues.

More info on the event can be found on the company's website here, where those interested in the matter can also register for participation.
