A new series of BlackBerry Curve devices has just gone official, running under the new BlackBerry 7 OS and packing a great deal of enhancements when compared to the previous BlackBerry Curve devices, namely the BlackBerry Curve 9350, BlackBerry Curve 9360 and BlackBerry Curve 9370.

The new handsets from the Canadia mobile phone maker Research In Motion were designed to prove affordable options for all users, while being capable of providing them with the features and ease of usage they need.

The all-new BlackBerry Curve devices come with appealing features, as well as with a great deal of socially-connected capabilities.

RIM developed the new devices to be slim, stylish and appealing, featuring an ergonomic design and a comfortable keyboard that can enable fast typing. The handsets also come with an optical trackpad for easy navigation.

Some of the main features of the new devices include WiFi connectivity, along with built-in GPS receiver, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper with flash and video recording.

Moreover, the new Curve series devices sport microSD/SDHC slot so that users can add up to 32GB of additional storage space into the mix.

“These new models will build on the incredible success of the BlackBerry Curve line and further expand the largest global launch of BlackBerry smartphones in our history,” said Mike Lazaridis, president and co-CEO at Research In Motion.

“The new BlackBerry Curve smartphones are absolutely stunning and offer a significant performance upgrade with an unmatched mobile social experience for the millions of feature phone users in the market as well as our existing Curve customers.”

The new Curve handsets run under the BlackBerry 7 OS, with great improvements when it comes to web browsing and communication, and include built-in support for NFC (Near Field Communications), along with faster CPUs and more.

The new mobile phones also come with pre-loaded BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), an updated Social Feeds (2.0) app, and a wide selection of phone, email, messaging and social apps aimed at providing users with a great experience while on the go.

The BlackBerry Curve 9350, 9360 and 9370 smartphones should hit the market in Canada before the end of this month, and are set to arrive at various carriers around the world starting with early September. No info on their pricing has emerged so far.
