Those BlackBerry application developers out there interested in learning some more details on the latest advancements of the mobile platform have now the possibility to do so courtesy of a new series of BlackBerry Developer Days the Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion has just announced for the next few weeks in North America.

According to the handset vendor, developers would have the possibility to learn more not only on the platform itself at these meetings, but also on the market opportunities they would have for the applications built for the BlackBerry platform.

At the same time, the company notes that the agenda includes as series of session of the development of applications for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet PC as well.

“Our North American series of BlackBerry Developer Days continues with new dates announced for New York, NY on March 15th; Sunnyvale, CA on March 22nd; Toronto, ON on March 31st; and Washington, DC on April 5th,” the company notes in a recent blog post.

The handset vendor also notes that developers can check on the full agenda for each of these events on its website.

They can also register for participation, for New York, NY – March 15, 2011 here; Sunnyvale, CA – March 22, 2011 here; Toronto, ON – March 31, 2011 here; and Washington, DC – April 5, 2011 here.

“Join us for the morning sessions to get oriented to the BlackBerry Development Platform, and get up to speed on recent platform advancements and opportunities,” the mobile phone maker notes.

“The afternoon sessions will open with the opportunity to learn from a fellow developer’s success, and then focus on a few key platform updates,” the company continues.

Among these, RIM includes the new BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) Social Platform, as well as the BlackBerry WebWorks Platform, and the Adobe AIR development for the new BlackBerry PlayBook tablet PC.
