Chinese are natural born cloners, but there are some really great exceptions among them. One of them is definitely RAmos. The electronics company got us used to making some pretty cool portable media players. The latest player on the company's list is RM970, a simple black portable device that boasts a nice 3 inch 480 x 272 screen display. Too bad they didn't use a touchscreen, but something that looks more like the new iPod Nano split-screen.

And when it comes to the portable media player's technical specification list, there are a few things you'll find great, such as a cool 200MHz ARM7 main processor and a 200MHz Rockchips DSP chip. And these particular features are making this player stand out from the crowd.

Beside that, the portable media device can deal with many popular file formats, such as MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, FLAC, APE and more, and, apart from decoding audio file formats, it can also face a couple of video ones like AVI, Real, MPEG4 and more.

But, what's really cool, apparently the dual-core RAmos RM970 PMP has a built-in 3 mega pixel camera. No to mention it can also perform GPS tracking, it allows users to view the media content on wider flat screens via TV-Out and comes equipped with DAB TV super option. What else could you want? Well, how about some NES emulation, Bluetooth and OTG functionality?

The multilingual "monster" PMP, as they call it, will reveal a 3.0 inch WQVGA LCD of 480 x 272 pixels. As for the player's internal storage capacity, RM970 is not going to be a monster at all, as the official representatives have only announced a 2GB version.

Recently, some development shots of the RM9UI70 UI were leaked, giving anyone the opportunity to compare the device with the hottest items of this kind. Sadly, there is no pricing and availability out yet!
