14 DAY TRIAL // We're not sure if you're familiar with the Quirky community-based product development system, but this group has come up with some pretty interesting designs these past few months, their latest device, the Cable Collar cable management system, being a very useful solution for taking care of the cable clutter typically formed around power sockets. According to Quirky, the Cable Collar is a solution to those messy wires that pile up when excess cord and cable length is not being used.
The interesting and innovative design conceals power cords by keeping them wrapped around the outlet itself, leaving the home and office free from unnecessary clutter.
Practically, this solution is as user-friendly as they get, since no hardware or installation are required, a plug being all users need to hold the Cable Collar in place.
The Cable Collar's simple design is made of heat-resistant plastic that won't interfere with the appliance's electrical connection, so that one won't have to worry about any mishaps happening in that rather dangerous areas that are the power sockets.
Users will only have to set it in place on any standard plug outlet and it can be used to wrap up to 24 inches of electric cable, the device providing six integrated anchors that hold cables securely in place.
Cable Collar is the 57th product designed and developed by the Quirky community since Quirky’s launch on June 2, 2009.
