Both software deliver a complete backup solution focused only on contacts and SMS.
Contacts Transfer and SMS Transfer have multiple uses, as one can take advantage of the applications when they want to make a copy backup for your windows mobile phone, change their mobile device, soft/hard reset their gadget, or simply play out their personal contacts and SMS to safety in case they're losing their item or it's stolen. Installation can be done either by downloading the .cab file directly on your Pocket PC or by transferring the file from the PC. The applications fully support Microsoft Windows Mobile 5 and 6, as well as VGA and WVGA screens.
Users can make a backup of their contacts with only three clicks, after they have synchronized their device with the PC. The same goes for the restoring process. Other features of the applications include: supporting backup and restoring SMS and Contacts to text file; supporting set photo and ringtone for contacts on computer directly; supporting unlimited SMS and Contacts backup/restore. The package also embeds a special application that can only be used on a Windows PC to view, edit and print SMS and Contacts transferred from the Pocket PC.
