QuickerTek is now shipping carry handles for Apple’s unibody MacBooks, including the white, polycarbonate model. The carry handles are made from non-flex aircraft-grade aluminum. The handle is built with captive screws and attaches with a bracket mount that uses the existing screw holes on the back of the computer, while also elevating it, to allow better airflow underneath the laptop. The accessory is priced at $79.95.

“Carry and lift your Mac out of bag without fear!”, says QuickerTek “This lightweight handle is made from bullit [sic] machined aluminum, with captive screws. The unique design lays the handle out and the bracket elevates the keyboard, so you can type longer with less fatigue. It also allows for better airflow. And it's styled to match your Mac, so it goes with all of your Mac stuff.”

Trying to entice potential customers, QuickerTek continues: “What you don't need is for your laptop to slip out of your fingers and hit the ground. The finish on the aluminum also blends in with the finishes on the MacBook Air, so when the handle is attached, it looks like it belongs there. Countersunk screws add a finish quality that is not commonly found on handles at any price. And the Air Carry Handle uses the existing screw holes, so you don't have to bugger up the beautiful case of your MacBook Air. In fact, if you ever need to remove it, the Handle will not mar the finish of your laptop”, the company pledges. According to the product’s description, the angle of the keyboard is also tilted thanks to the fold-out nature of the handle, allowing users to adjust their typing angle for maximum comfort.
