Whenever Quentin Taratino releases a new movie, it becomes an instant hit, so it's no wonder that any news involving one of his new projects is met with incredible excitement from media and fans. Deadline says that the title of his new project, apparently a western, will be “The Hateful Eight.”

The script is already in first draft form, and the legendary director is now said to be showing it to a handful of actors he wants featured in his future creation.

The first name on that list is Cristoph Waltz, who shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, as he has starred in two of the last Tarantino pictures, “Inglorious Basterds” and “Django Unchained,” for which he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.

The other name rumored to be recruited by Tarantino is Bruce Dern. The 77-year-old actor is best known for supporting roles throughout his career, though he managed to spark critics' interest with his role in Alexander's Payne “Nebraska.”

The part about it being a western was given by Tarantino himself, while being a guest on the Tonight Show. Speaking with Jay Leno, the director and script writer told the host “I had so much fun doing ‘Django’, and I love westerns so much that after I taught myself how to make one, it's like ‘OK! Let me make another one now that I know what I'm doing.’”
