QuakeCon 2012 is set to kick off in Dallas, Texas, next week and now its organizer, prestigious developer id Software, has presented the actual program of the convention.
QuakeCon started out as a celebration of the games made by id Software, but it quickly turned into a full-fledged convention where many titles are shown and lots of interesting panels are held by members of the id staff, as well as from other developers.
For the 2012 edition of QuakeCon, which kicks off on August 2 and ends on August 6, id Software is preparing plenty of big things, starting with the annual keynote of the studio’s co-founder and technical director, John Carmack.
After that, on Friday, August 3, the actual panels start. These include all sorts of presentations with developers from studios like id, Valve, Bethesda, Arkane, and much more, so check out the schedule below.
