Yesterday took place the launching of Doom 3 version for Xbox. The CEO of the company made a few comments about the future of the company.

First of all, Todd Hollenshead said he is delighted with the virtues of the Xbox console and rejected the rumors that id Software had received money from Microsoft to launch Doom 3 for Xbox.

Hollenshead said that while PC games have had equal sales from one year to another, the consoles dominate the industry.

That is why we might witness new titles from id Software for consoles, especially since PS3 and Xbox 2 are about to launched.

Another announcement Hollenshead has made is that during the QuakeCon 2005 conference, players will enjoy Quake 4 or at least a multiplayer version of it. And this is not the only surprise from id Software.

Considering that the Quake 4 multiplayer mode is ready and the CEO is so enthusiast about consoles is it possible that he game will be first launched for consoles? It is difficult to tell but it is possible.

Hollenshead didn't make any comments about the next title from id Software, the only thing we know it's that it will be a FPS.
