iBerry is among the new Indian OEMs that have started to sell most of their products well. Given the affordable price and decent specs, customers seem to be attracted by iBerry's latest Android smartphones that are available for purchase through eBay India.

Over the weekend, the company announced the upcoming availability of two new budget-friendly smartphones, the Auxus Linea L1 and Auxus AX04.

Here is what Feroz Ahmed, COO and co-founder of iBerry India, had to say about the upcoming release of the Auxus Linea L1 and Auxus AX04:

“Further to the tremendous response and success of the exclusive launch of Auxus Nuclea X on eBay India recently, we are delighted to again exclusively launch the new series of our Auxus smartphone and tablet on eBay India. Both the products are targeted to the budget conscious Indian consumers and we are confident that this series will be well received.”

Both smartphones have been confirmed to arrive in India on June 25 for Rs 6,990 ($115 / €85) and Rs 5,990 ($100 / €75), respectively. The Auxus Linea L1 is likely to be available only in black color option.

However, potential customers should know that both handsets will be exclusively available for purchase through Ebay India, fonearena notes.

Even though these smartphones have been priced pretty low, they ship with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box, which offers them some leverage over other smartphones in the same price range that come with Jelly Bean.

The iBerry Auxus Linea L1, being the most expensive of the two, is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, a Mali 400 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

As expected, the smartphone offers dual-SIM capability with dual standby support. Other connectivity options provided by the Auxus Linea L1 include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS with A-GPS support.

iBerry Auxus Linea L1 sports a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that features Corning Gorilla Glass coating for extra protection. There are no details on the resolution supported, but it might offer qHD (540 x 960 pixels).

On the back, iBerry's mid-range smartphone packs a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and video recording, while in the front, there's a secondary 2-megapixel camera for video calls.

It's also worth mentioning that the phone is powered by a 2000 high-capacity battery and packs 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.
