iBall, another Indian OEM specialized in releasing affordable Android smartphones, has just announced the upcoming availability of Andi 4.5P Glitter, a mid-range device that will soon go on sale in India for Rs 7,399 ($120 / €90) outright.

There are quite a few traits that would convince an Android fan or a first time smartphone user to buy the iBall Andi 4.5P Glitter. For example, the design and the colors chosen by iBall are appealing enough for a mid-range smartphone.

According to fonearena, iBall Andi 4.5P Glitter will soon be available in India via major carriers across the country in both white and yellow colors.

The dual-SIM support could not have missed from an Indian device, so expect to be able to take advantage of this feature if you plan on buying the iBall Andi 4.5P Glitter.

Aside from the fact that it comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, the Andi 4.5P Glitter has been confirmed to come with useful features such as auto call recording and flip to mute.

These are included in other affordable Android smartphones, but not all of them are offering these features, so thumbs up iBall for bringing these on the Andi 4.5P Glitter. Unfortunately, the smartphone will not receive any major updates in the future, so don’t expect KitKat on such a cheap device.

Another strong point of the handset is the enhanced 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and video recording. It is also worth mentioning that the Andi 4.5P Glitter also comes with a secondary camera in the front for video calls.

Speaking of which, video calls will be possible as the smartphone offers 3G support, but also additional connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

iBall Andi 4.5P Glitter sports a large enough 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It also comes with FM Radio support, 3.5mm audio jack and a decent 1450 mAh battery that has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

On the inside, iBall’s affordable dual-SIM smartphone is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

The smartphone has yet to go on sale in India, but iBall has confirmed that the Andi 4.5P Glitter will arrive at multiple authorized retailers in the coming days. Are you going to get one?
