The O2 Ice handset is available from O2, provider of mobile services to consumers and businesses in the United Kingdom. The uiOne offering consists of an open and flexible combination of products and services to help develop and deploy rich, graphical user interfaces (UIs) onto mobile devices, enabling O2 to further differentiate its brand while offering its customers an enhanced and personalized experience of its mobile services.
This is the first time that uiOne has been deployed on a commercially available device in Europe, marking an important milestone for uiOne in the European wireless device market. O2 selected uiOne as part of its strategy to design and develop its own brand of devices that are both fashionable and highly functional. The uiOne-enabled O2 Ice handset is now available at O2 stores, as well as at major retailers in the UK.
