For the most part, EK water block launches, well, water blocks, because pretty much every new CPU and video card, especially video cards that get customized by so many OEMs, have different PCBs.
Still, reservoirs and pumps, while they do come out more rarely, come out nonetheless, like now.
So behold, the EK-BAY RES D5 has been completed, a pump/reservoir combo unit that takes up two 5.25-inch drive bays.
It won't be much good in, say, cases like the mid-tower that Cooltek just launched, but any chassis with at least three 5.25-inch bays will be able to hold it.
The EK-BAY RES D5 has anti-vibration rubber mounting and is made from high quality POM Acetal material, a monoblock design in fact, for “maximum reliability and rigidity.”
It can ship with or without a Vario motor, including pump, for €85 / $85 and €149 / $149, respectively.
