Miley Cyrus will continue to shock audiences with her raunchy performances on her "Bangerz" tour

Scandal brewed yesterday when it emerged that Miley's current tour was under heavy fire from parents of children attending her shows, as well as some organizations for being too dirty and rude. Reportedly, several venues across the US threatened to cancel hosting the tour and fans were scrambling to re-sell their tickets online.

In a statement to E online, Live Nation tour company said that “There is no truth whatsoever to any stories or rumors of venues pulling out of the Bangerz Tour. Miley has created a tour that's big, spectacular, entertaining and everything you would expect from Miley Cyrus. Reviews have been amazing and most important, fans are loving the show and having a great time.”

The Queen of Controversy herself took to Twitter and blasted detractors with “You can't say I didn't warn you. Now sit back relax & enjoy the show. Save your complaints for the McDonalds drive thru when they forget the ‘fries with that.’”

Miley's performance is a weird mixture of pop culture icons and very provocative innuendos, all wrapped in a concept that is strikingly similar to a sideshow. There are midgets and giants, weed-printed leotards, miming self-pleasuring acts, lots of tongue wagging and a hoard of revealing outfits.

This was all billed as “art” by Her “Mileyness” who said, prior to heading out on the road, that the concert was going to be “educational” for kids. Many felt there was little education about some of her stunts on stage, like putting a fan's thongs in her mouth and chewing them in the middle of her performance.

“Bangerz” kicked off in Vancouver, Canada last week and now it's heading to the US, where outraged parents are trying their best to prevent the singer from performing. There have been reports that many fans were desperately trying to re-sell their concert tickets on-line.
