With just days to go until the release of “Prometheus,” a new featurette has emerged online, aiming to show “Alien” fans just what they're to expect from the film – and the spaceship that gives it its name.

Granted, when you have a film that's named after a ship, you'd better make sure it's the awesomest, most technologically advanced and breathtaking ever put on film.

In this regard, Ridley Scott's Prometheus doesn't seem to disappoint. Just check out the video above to see what we mean by that.

There is, however, just one thing that bugs about Prometheus, but chances are only diehard “Alien” fans will pick up on it: with the action set 3 decades before the first “Alien,” Prometheus does seem a bit too advanced, doesn't it?

“Prometheus” will be out in theaters in 3D on June 8.
