Famous computer cooling expert, German company Prolimatech, well known for the powerful Megahalems CPU cooler and other impressive cooling solutions, is now announcing that the MK-26 VGA cooler is actually shipping.
The whole assembly uses six different heatpipes to transfer the heat from the GPU to the cooling fins and can house two cooling fans with a 120-millimeter diameter or even two fans with a 140mm diameter.
Most impressive is the fact that MK-26 comes with complete compatibility with all cards that adhere to the official manufacturer specifications since way back in 2007.
Therefore, the MK-26 is reportedly compatible with reference design VGA adapters from AMD Radeon HD 3850 all the way up to the popular Radeon HD 7970.
On the Nvidia side, the MK-26 is compatible with reference design VGA adapters from the GeForce 7800 Series to the powerful GeForce GTX 680.
Priced at £52 ($82 / €65), the MK-26 is not quite cheap and we cannot help but ask Prolimatech why they didn’t use 8mm heatpies instead of the 6mm ones.
