Ubisoft is a pretty busy company these days, as it is launching quite a few new and very much expected games this holiday season. From the innovative voice-controlled RTS (Real Time Strategy) game Tom Clancy's EndWar to the expansion to one of the most beautiful shooters, Far Cry 2, there are plenty of titles that would surely attract customers.

But certainly one of the most eagerly anticipated games that are set to hit the store shelves this winter season is Prince of Persia. This new release in the action adventure franchise promises to revamp the whole series and take a totally new direction in terms of gameplay, graphics and level design. The main character will be a new prince, much different from the one in the previous games, who will be tasked with saving, yet again, the middle East from the monsters that want to invade it.

Ubisoft is definitely pulling out all the stops in order to promote this game and has recently announced some very interesting things that it will offer to people who buy or pre-order it. First, and most important, is the fact that the game will support skins, meaning that players can change the main character if they don't like him.

The first skins to be made available by the European company are an Altair one, meaning gamers can choose the main character of the very popular Assassin's Creed title, and a Classic Prince skin, giving players the chance to finish the game as the Prince from the older games in the franchise. The Altair skin will be offered for free, if those interested register their copy of the game on Ubisoft's official website. The classic Prince skin will be available only for people who pre-order the game from GameStop in the USA or Play.com in Europe.

Also, as a special feature for those who pre-order it from Play.com, Ubisoft has announced that it will offer a Collector's Box Set, which will contain special goodies, ranging from a high quality collector's box or a comic book containing the story of the main antagonist of the game, to a bonus DVD with the soundtrack, making of videos and much more.

All in all, some very interesting offers that are sure to make people very interested in this new iteration of the classic Prince of Persia franchise. As a quick reminder, the game is slated for a December 2 release in North America, with European players getting their hands on it on December 4.
