14 DAY TRIAL // Probably many of you hated Prey even before it came out, because of its loooong development time. Some of you may have even refused to buy the game, and I can say that you missed out on some serious shooting fun. Maybe you will have the opportunity to make-up for your "mistake" once Prey 2 comes out.
In a recent CVG interview, Chris Rhunehart, Human Head co-founder, kinda revealed some details about a Prey sequel. From what I can read from the interview, Prey 2 will also be very innovative, just like its predecessor.
His exact words were: "We're discussing a lot of cool new ideas for Prey 2, but we can't really talk about them. There's the simple dynamic stuff, developing the Portal system and the improving the way the alien AI uses the portals. Plus, there's already a mod out there that gives you a portal wrench, just the same as in Portal. We don't want to give away some of the cooler new stuff at this stage. We have some ideas that are way beyond how far we went in the first game that we want to explore pretty extensively - we'll definitely be taking things in a different direction next time."
Although that's very vague, it reveals an interesting fact, namely that Prey 2 will take things in a different direction. I'd like to know more about this FPS, like on what platform will it be released? Are they gonna keep it a PC and Xbox 360 exclusive or are they planning a PS3 version? Just think how good Prey 2 would look in full HD graphics...
