Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is now pregnant with her first child so, at this time when she should be feeling nothing but joy, she doesn’t want the aggravation that comes with receiving hate messages on social media.

On Independence Day, Jennifer took to her official Twitter page for one last time (at least for now) to say that she’s quitting the social networking platform after receiving the most disturbing messages, including death threats.

She doesn’t go into details, but the words “death threat” alone are enough to send a chill down her fans’ spine, we might assume.

“Unfortunately with all the negativity people choose to send on twitter as well as threats to there own well being. I'm sad to say twitter is no longer for me,” Jennifer writes.

“I have enjoyed all the kindness and love that came my way, as well as support. But this break is needed,” she continues.

“Life should be filled with positivity and holding each other up, not making threats and sending bad vibes. To those of you who made it a joy, Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Jennifer concludes by saying.

As we also informed you a while back, Jennifer and her “The Client List” co-star Brian Hallisay have been dating for about 15 months.

Hours after pregnancy reports leaked and took over the Internet, she issued a statement to confirm they were true: she was expecting her first child by Brian.

In the same statement, she announced that they were also engaged, but she did not provide a wedding date, be it an estimative one.

As of now, Jennifer is yet to publicly talk about the pregnancy. She’s never been the kind to shy away from this type of media attention, so fans are waiting patiently for the day when she’s ready to dish out all the details.
