Starting this week, on March 12, US customers can pre-order both Wi-Fi and Wi- Fi +3G iPad models from Apple’s online store (www.apple.com) or even reserve a Wi-Fi model at an Apple retail store in order to pick it up and make it their own on Saturday, April 3. Later on in April, all the models of iPad will be available in Australia, France, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain Switzerland and the UK and, by the end of this year, the iPad will ship in additional countries. So, there’s room for everybody! Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, said on the new iPad release, “iPad is something completely new. We’re excited for customers to get their hands on this magical and revolutionary product and connect with their apps and content in a more intimate, intuitive and fun way than ever before.”

Apple keeps the leading post in the digital media revolution. Thinner and lighter than a laptop or a notebook (0.5 inches and 1.5 pounds), the iPad invites users to browse the web, read, send email, share photos, listen to music, read ebooks, watch videos, play games and much more, delivering a battery life of up to ten hours.

The iPad will be available for a suggested retail price of US$499 for the 16GB model, of $599 for the 32GB model, and of $699 for the 64GB model.
