Last week, some pictures were leaked with the PowerColor LCS R9 290X graphics card. Now, that very video board has been officially launched.
Equipped with the EK-FC R9-290X water block (so no, it's not an all-in-one liquid cooler this time), the video card works the GPU at 1060 MHz and the memory at 1350 MHz / 5400 MHz.
That's 60 MHz and 100 MHz faster, respectively, than on reference boards.
The rest of the specs are mostly the same: 2,816 stream processors, 512-bit interface, 4 GB GDDR5 VRAM, dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort, etc.
PowerColor did add its own touch to the LCS R9 290X though (since the cooler is not its own, but from EK): "Gold Power Kit" components (gold components for better stability during manual overclock).
