Bitdefender, the renowned security solutions provider, and ConeXware, a company that provides archiving, encryption and compression tools, signed a partnership the results of which will be seen in the future variant of the PowerArchiver Toolbox which will come with an anti-virus component.

The 2011 version of ConeXware's product suit, a software bundle designed mainly for small businesses and families, will incorporate security solutions after many of the company's clients requested such products.

After taking a look at numerous products, the firm decided that the solutions offered by Bitdefender are the best for their package.

“We think it’s extremely important to listen to the needs and concerns of the PowerArchiver community, so it was a logical step to start looking for an antivirus solution to incorporate into the PowerArchiver 2011 Toolbox” said Drazen Dodig, chief operating officer, ConeXware.

“Along with other features, adding the Bitdefender antivirus solution differentiates us from the competition and provides our customers with a lot of value for the money.”

Starting in April 2012, customers can purchase the Toolbox which includes PowerArchiver 2011, Bitdefender Internet Security, PowerArchiver for Outlook, PowerArchiver Secure FTP, PowerArchiver Backup and PowerArchiver Data Burner with Virtual Drive.

Their client's opinions will be highly taken into consideration with the release of the new product since all the new features they requested will be available at a price that's much lower than if the utilities were purchased separately.

“For ConeXware, integrating another solution into their product offerings was an important decision, and for this reason we’re very pleased that Bitdefender was the choice to address their anti-virus protection needs,” revealed Peter Laakkonen, general manager of OEM and Technology Licensing.

“Bitdefender places a high priority on working with partners like ConeXware to deliver offer security solution for their communities.”

Recently Bitdefender lent its security solutions to other companies such as Adyton and Raxco Software.
