Knowning her obstinacy that she not be considered solely for her part in the two “Transformers” films, fans shouldn’t be surprised that Megan Fox already has plenty of other projects on her plate, even if a James Bond movie might not be among them. On this note, at this year’s Comic-Con convention, the first official poster for her upcoming film, “Jonah Hex,” has been released, as JustJared can confirm.

Starring Fox, Josh Brolin and John Malkovich, the movie centers on the story of a bounty hunter who tracks down a witch trying to raise an army of the dead. The poster, however, features only the two lead stars, Brolin and Fox, with the latter even wearing the much-talked-about corset that made her waist truly as thin as a wasp’s. There is, of course, also plenty of smoke, a gun and the blueish light specific to movies with sorcerers or the supernatural.

Overall, the poster was warmly received by fans, most of which are ready to give Fox her chance in the spotlight to prove her acting skills, despite the fact that they agree almost unanimously that she could use some tips on how to be more diplomatic. This is also why her first horror film, which also aims to be a dark comedy, “Jennifer’s Body,” is getting plenty of attention at the moment.

While on the topic of attention, yesterday, it emerged that Megan Fox could use less of that, especially if it was solely for her good looks. Reports in the media claim the star turned down an offer to become the next James Bond girl, opposite none other than Daniel Craig, of course, because she thought it would play on the screen-siren stereotype, and this is something she wants to distance herself from. At least, that’s what the media was saying.

“In a shockingly bad career move (in our humble opinion, at least), Megan Fox has announced she’s turned down an offer to star opposite Daniel Craig in the next Bond film. Really!? The chance to join the prestigious list of female A-listers with the looks and brains to challenge and roll with Bond? (We’ll have to exclude Denise Richards from that list though.) Apparently, she’s just not impressed by the notion and feels the role wouldn’t really add anything to her career. Huh.” The Frisky wrote.
