Reality star Porsha Williams may be many things but one thing she is definitely not: a pop star. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star decided to take her chance and take on a singing career but she has just proven that she doesn't have what it takes in terms of vocal skill, when she gave a short performance in a club in New York City.

People in attendance at the club seemed to be enjoying her performance, but once the video hit the internet, the reviews stopped begin favorable. Her new single “Flatline” was blasted by people who listened to it and they all had the same thing to say to Porsha: don't quit your day job.

Visually speaking, the performance looked very professional. Surrounded by her well-built and well-choreographed backup dancers, Porsha had the right attitude and she strutted her stuff like a veteran in the business, but when it came to singing, she came out just a little bit short.

As the song progressed, people in the crowd didn't seem to notice that Porsha missed a couple of notes and then actually missed a couple of dance moves too. The same can't be said for the people who watched her video on YouTube.

“This is a joke, right?” asked rhetorically one commenter, and another added “Worst voice ever.” Most had objections to make to the fact that Porsha didn't seem able to sing with a track, meaning that she didn't practice that much under these circumstances.

This comes quite as a shock, since Porsha was just revealed to have been an evangelist preacher in her past, before she joined the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta. For that you'd think that you need to be able to carry a tune, as well as be comfortable on stage.

Perhaps sensing her shortcomings, Porsha decided to end her performance with a back-shacking performance in which she twerked her posterior, much to the delight of her male fans who immediately began cheering her on.

A couple of mean-spirited commenters couldn't help themselves to point out to the fact that Porsha's Arch nemesis, Kenya Moore would be very happy to see her failing so hard at singing. “Kenya must be DYING laughing right about now,” said one comment.

So the conclusion is that Porsha's “Flatline” is a bit, well, flat-lined, just like her performance and maybe even her singing career, in case she chooses to stick with it in favor of her reality TV performance.
