The applicants have to display the “ability to turn the other cheek”

Someone posted a hilarious job ad on LinkedIn, looking to hire the next pope. As I wrote before, the College of Cardinals is getting ready to choose the next pontiff.

One prankster decided to test how much people know about this election process. The ad presents a lucky applicant with the possibility of getting a job as the Vatican head of state or Supreme Pontiff. Click the photo above to read the entire posting.

In order to get a job as the Pope, one would have to be a proactive, “open to religion,” celibate man with a passion for flying and the “ability to turn the other cheek.” Most importantly, the applicant has to possess strong problem solving skills, Mashable indicates.

“Here at the Vatican, we take equal opportunities seriously. People from all ethnicities and backgrounds will be considered, unless you are - of course - a woman,” the ad specifies.

The lucky guy will have a well-paid job for life, unless he quits, and will get the added referral bonus of eternity in heaven.
