Next year is election year and, oh, boy, will it be thrilling to watch every politician out there making promises they know they cannot keep, but still try to mystify themselves into thinking that. If you have a liar-liar pants-on-fire politician list that you want to constantly update, this Google gadget is for you.

As the election date is coming around closer and closer with every passing day, the political campaigns should be picking up pace and go into the final stages that amass happenings by the bundle in a single day. If you want to know where your favorite politician will be all the time, there in the front row breathing in all his words, or if you just want to heckle the opposing party's candidates, your perfect tool for the job is at hand.

News about all the politicians will be included, as well as maps, videos and blogs, and if you want to narrow your list only to your favorite or favorites, you can select them from the list provided and all the rest will fade into the distance of the never ending Internet. The maps mark out the places he or she will visit and if you're in the neighborhood, you can just pop in with a question or with a baby for the compulsory "infant kissing" session, at the end of all the events. Being a Google gadget, it's only natural that the videos will be brought to you via YouTube, there's no new and never seen before technology involved here.

Using the tool is easy; step one, add it to your iGoogle homepage, step two, start with the election race following already. I wonder whether this would be the best tool for a possible sniper that would have a contract on the head of one politician: check his schedule, after that scout the area using street view in order to see all the access routes or exit points, and then with all that specific knowledge in hand he could just stroll in and assume position for the job. But, all you snipers out there have not just read this. I decline responsibility for any mishaps.
