Some people might have had an inkling that not all was well with Canadian pop star Justin Bieber when he began acting weirdly on and off the camera. His antics have been making headlines more often lately and now the possible reason for his behavior is surfacing.

Local police forces raided Bieber's home last weekend with a warrant, in hopes of finding some evidence to link him with an egg-pelting incident that left a neighbor's home damaged.

Though they confiscated his phone along with footage from the surveillance system, it's now emerging police officers also stumbled on a lot of drugs. TMZ says policemen found 2 large jars of weed sitting in plain sight, about 5 empty codeine bottles thrown around and even a smoking room with hookahs and bongs.

Strewn around the house were empty Styrofoam cups with Justin's drawings on them. These are suspected to be used for Sizzurp, allegedly Justin's favorite drug. Sizzurp is a mixture of cough syrup with codeine, any fruit-flavored soda and Jolly Rancher candy for added flavor.

The effect of the drink is said to be euphoric, with the Promethazine causing motor skill impairment, lethargy, extreme drowsiness and a dissociative feeling from all other parts of the body, mainly the stomach.

Apart from arresting one of Justin's friends, Lil' Za, on drug possession charges, the police did not confiscate any of the drugs they found, because it would have exceeded the scope of the search warrant.

This is the last in a series of news reporting the troubled singer was suffering from drug addiction. It's been suggested by many people in his entourage that Justin is going down a wrong path and many people close to him have urged him to seek help in rehab. So far, he has resisted any such attempt.
