Polar Mobile has just announced that it has signed a new three-year agreement with the NFL PLAYERS to bring information and entertainment features on mobile platforms

Following the new partnership, Polar Mobile will provide NFL fans with a set of innovative mobile experiences on smartphones and tablets, including some of the highly-acclaimed devices and mobile platforms that are now available on the market such as the iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry, PlayBook, Windows Phone and Nokia.

For those who are not aware, the NFL PLAYERS organization owns the licensing rights for the active NFL players.

Under the agreement, these rights have been licensed to Polar Mobile, which will also have access to all the content and assets of the organization.

According to Polar Mobile a series of mobile apps for NFL PLAYERS will be released next month across smartphones and tablet devices, including a social player tracker where fans will be able to follow tweets of their favorite NFL players.

In addition, a Photobook App for tablets will also be announced later next month.

Some of the companies that are already working with Polar Mobile include important names such as: The Hockey News, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pro Football Weekly and the Canadian Football League.
