Unveiled back in March and introduced on the market two months later, HTC EVO 3D is available at Amazon Wireless for only $50 (36 EUR) since early October.

In an attempt to boost the smartphone's sales and make the deal even more attractive, the retailer has just debuted the plum version of the EVO 3D.

Customers who prefer the plum color over black can order the HTC EVO 3D for as low as $49.99 (36 EUR) with a new two-year agreement, while Sprint customers who want to upgrade their current contracts will have to pay $99.99 (71 EUR).

The smartphone's suggested retail price remains unchanged, as the HTC EVO 3D can be purchased for $589.99 (422 EUR) outright.

Exclusively from Sprint in the United States, the HTC EVO 3D is the first 4G-enabled device that allows users to capture, record and playback in 3D, without having to wear 3D glasses.

In this regard the HTC EVO 3D sports dual 5-megapixel cameras that allow users to capture 3D content. In addition, the handset packs a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera for video calls.

The smartphone is delivered with HTC Sense 3.0 user interface as well as Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, which offer an improved multimedia users experience.

It comes with pre-installed Google Maps with turn-by-turn navigation, street and satellite views, which is also compatible with optional Sprint Navigation service.

With Wi-Fi hotspot functionality users can share their 3G or 4G connectivity with up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices while on the move.

On the inside, the EVO 3D is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660 processor, an Adreno 220 graphics processing unit, 4GB storage, 1GB of RAM, and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 8GB memory card included).

HTC EVO 3D is currently available in two colors, black and plum, but HTC may offer additional colors in the future.
