Have you ever had more adapters and cables than your power strip can actually carry? You must have experienced the frustrating feeling of having to plug in a, say, phone charger, that takes up two sockets. Don't worry about the lack of power outlets anymore, as Tributaries has just introduced its new T12 power strip that promises to solve some of the problems we hit against daily.

The Tributaries T12 power strip comes with 12 outlets, of which 8 can be rotated up to 90 degrees, in order to make room for the bulky adapters also known as wall-warts. No matter the design of the consumer appliances you need to fit into your power strip, they will all find their place into it. More than that, the strip comes with surge protection, and its manufacturer claims that the T12 can offer as much as 4320 joules of surge suppression and noise filtering for AC power. The power strip also offers signal-line protection for telecom (RJ-11), network (RJ-45), and cable, antenna, and satellite (F-connector) signals.

The Tributaries T12 power strip delivers enhanced protection from surge, over-voltage, and powerline noise, as well as from electromagnetic interference. According to the product's technical specification sheet, the device can offer voltage-spike protection to 6 kilovolts and peak current-spike handling up to 192 kiloamperes.

The power strip comes with a pair of LEDs to indicate the operating status. The blue "Grounded" LED turns on when the system is properly grounded, while the red LED labeled as "Protected" shows that the AC surge protection is fully functional. The device can operate at 15 amperes for up to 1875 watts of load, which should be enough for all the equipment you might want to fit into it.

The device is already on sale on the United States market and comes with an estimative retail price of $120.
