Why, you'll ask

Google is the most powerful company in the entire world, not only on the Internet, for multiple reasons. The main reason is that it owns the best search engine, used by millions of visitors and implemented in numerous pages on the Internet. Recently, Google received the award for the most powerful brand in 2006, the search giant managing to beat more famous companies such as Coca Cola, Marlboro or General Electric. Why? Because it is continuously struggling to develop new projects and ideas that are meant to revolutionize the way we work on the computer because it is the only company that is now working on an Office suite able to challenge the old fashioned Microsoft Office designed by the Redmond firm; because it has the courage to make this upcoming Office solution free for all the users while Microsoft sells it for a high price.

Google is not only the most powerful company in the world but it is also the most popular name among Internet users and computer owners. Why? Because its search engine attracts millions of users looking for information in both online and offline modes through multiple products such as Google Desktop or iGoogle; because it is struggling to develop solutions for its users and is trying to adapt them to the clients' needs; because you can find precious information straight from your browser using the search box included in most application.

But, the most important is that Google is already the emperor of the Internet but it also wants the offline users. In the recent period, the Mountain View company tried to expand its advertising platforms to the offline media by signing several deals with publications, radio stations and other companies.
