Add a new event to the list of what will be the busiest April

April will definitely be one of the busiest months this year and I'd probably not overreact too much if I'd say one of the busiest months in the gaming history. Shadowed by the console war - Xbox 360 vs. PlayStation 3, to be more accurate - we're already receiving all the signs needed to understand that Sony wants victory and nothing less.

One of these signs is still in a rumor-like state, but it seems highly believable and quite a good call, we'd say. According to Kotaku, a very interesting leak came out of the retailer conference. Unnamed sources there confirmed or, better said, suggested that the PlayStation Store is going to get a graphical overhaul, on the 15th of April - as you can see, if this is true, it will come hand in hand with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.

Even though the details received were pretty scarce - since it's not anything official, it seems natural to be so - but that doesn't mean they are completely missing. For example, it seems that the PS Store will be tuned to look a bit more like the SingSore (pictured in the upper left corner). Also, it seems that it's going to be even more than just a simple "redecoration" and we'll finally get some improved navigation and usability. The first hint towards that is the existence of icons running along the bottom of the interface.

So, a little recap, for the things that we're 100% sure with: Grand Theft Auto will be released in April. We just got word that the DualShock 3 controller is coming this April too, GT5 prologue does the same. New Home pictures started to surface the web and a Metal Gear Solid 4 demo should definitely hit the PSN before the June release. Just check all these title once again and you'll definitely get dizzy. Sony is up and climbing, but there is just one big question left to answer: are all these preparations made to support the Grand Theft Auto IV, or the MGS 4 game? Anyway, this doesn't matter that much. What matters is that we will definitely have a busy April.
