Sony saw strong demand for all of its PlayStation products

Sony has confirmed that it saw “strong demand” for its PlayStation 3 home console, peripherals and games made for it, during Black Friday, last week.

Lots of U.S. gamers eagerly awaited Black Friday and, even if there were a few unfortunate incidents, most of them managed to score some big discounts on plenty of gaming items, from console bundles to accessories or even new games.

After Nintendo showed off its own sales figures, Sony has also confirmed that, "Consumer demand for the PlayStation 3 system, peripherals and software was very strong during the Black Friday weekend,” via Industry Gamers.

While concrete sales numbers weren’t given, Sony confirmed that the huge array of features, from the free PlayStation Network, to the Blu-ray capability or the lineup of exclusive titles, like Uncharted 3, meant lots of people managed to get a PlayStation 3 last week.
