The victims of the deadly Asiana Airlines crash in San Francisco during the weekend have been identified as two students traveling from China.

Mercury news reported that Ye Mengyuan and Wang Linjia were both 16 years old and were studying at San Fernando Valley-based West Valley Christian Church and School.

They were accompanied by 33 other students and teachers from China. In fact, out of the plane's 291 passengers, 141 were residents of China.

"En route to WVCS were 35 Chinese students who were on the airplane that crash landed in San Francisco. They were scheduled to be here on Tuesday for three weeks," school officials wrote in a statement.

One of the girls was ejected from the plane rear and fell onto the runway, and the second one was found dead after the crash. One of the students could have been hit by a fire truck during the rescue, as I mentioned earlier.
