New crust makes sure that final bite is as tasty as the first

First, it was the cheese stuffed crust and the crust made of garlic bread. Now, Pizza Hut offers all pizza lovers a new treat – and it's hot dog flavored. Sadly, the new variant is only available in the UK.

Neither does Pizza Hut plan on releasing it in other territories, since this is a limited edition variety only for customers here.

Either way, the new type of pizza builds on the success of the cheese stuffed crust meant to ensure that the last bite is just as tasty as the first.

In other words, the pizza giant is making sure you don't leave the crust on the plate or, even worse, eat it without enjoying it.

The Hot Dog Stuffed Crust is described on the delivery official webpage as “Succulent hot dog sausage bursting from our famous stuffed crust, with a FREE Mustard Drizzle (14" Large only).”

It's not available in brick-and-mortar locations, and can only be enjoyed at home, upon delivery.

A rep for the company notes that this variant is a limited edition one, with no plans of taking it to other markets as well.

“The new range builds on our proud tradition of creating innovative dishes to enjoy on a night in,” the publicist explains.

However, chances are you could also get a taste of it even if you're not in the UK, but you'd still have to travel a great distance: Thailand and Japan locations of Pizza Hut have it on their menu since 2007.

No word yet on how many extra calories the hot dog stuffed crust adds to a single meal but, now that the availability of the new variant has been made official, we're to expect nutritionists to weigh in on it any minute now.

Either way, one thing is certain: it will not make meals any lighter.
