A new clan joins the battle of the cards

For all the trading card game fans in the world, Urban Rivals is a well known title that manages to offer countless hours of strategic fun. Starting today, six brand new characters are introduced, along with a new clan - the Piranas. This means that Clint City (yes, with an "n"!) will be once again flooded with piranas (yes, without an "h"!). Don't you just love it already?

Just as their subtle clan name suggests, the Piranas have a pretty... watery past, since they have spent a long time gallivanting about the high seas, seeking treasures and fortune. Everything was put to an end when their leader, Captain Bloodh (this guy probably stole the "h" from the clan's name just for fun!) dropped anchor in the bay of Clint City. The Piranas have been enjoying a well deserved holiday on dry land taking advantage of the relaxed way of life there. And since they find Clint wonderful (which is understandable, after a life-long sea journey), they decide to join the battle (this is not understandable).

However, no matter whether you like it or not, the new characters ready to battle are: Katan, a knife throwing legend (and a rare card); Hawkins, who was, at first, a Sharky Burger owner, hearing all the weird and wonderful stories of the Pirate clan, only to join them years later; Spycee, the clan's cook, who knows how to handle a knife and rumors abound of his past as a pirate captain; Mayhem and his assistant in the cannon firing department, Smokey - the first is only interested in sinking other ships, so with the latter on his team, they have an impressive tally; and, finally, Rhed, who had been dreaming of joining the Piranas since a young age but had to disguise herself as a boy to be accepted (and she did a very good job, we'd say, if we are to judge her by the looks). However, once Rhed was fully integrated into the clan, she revealed her true identity and no-one disputes her being one of the team.

All in all, strange or not, a bit exaggerated or not, the Piranas add quite some new battle options, which is always a good deal in such a game. The clan is available for purchase at the Urban Rivals online game shop.
