Chinese tablet manufacturer Pipo is spawning the market with new tablet models at the speed of light. And for those wishing to go beyond Android, the company is offering a Windows 8 model too.

As Tablet-News notes, the Pipo W3 arrives with 10.1-inch screen with 16:10 aspect ratio and offers an FHD resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels), which most budget customers will certainly appreciate. The slate is equipped with a keyboard accessory, that makes the tablet appear quite reminiscent of Microsoft’s Surface tablet.

Anyway, moving on in the specifications department, the tablet draws power from the latest quad core Intel 3774D chip architecture. The Bay Trail processor has a frequency of 1.49GHz with boost speeds going as far as 2.46GHz.

The slate is fitted with 2GB of RAM and 64GB Of internal storage and has a battery that promises to sustain life on the tablet as long as 8 hours. W3 will become available to customers in Wi-Fi and 3G flavors.

The tablet can be used as a laptop, due to the companion keyboard, but so far we don’t have information whether the accessory will sell separately or will come included in the bundle.

Actually, the price for the stand-alone tablet has not been made public yet, but I’m certain it is going to be quite affordable.
