A while ago we told you that popular Chinese manufacturer Pipo was gearing up to unveil a new tablet sporting Rockchip’s new RK32800 chip.

Now, the time has come to spot some new models into the wild. Pipo is showing a whole line-up of new tablets in Hong Kong this week.

And as we were expecting, some of the tablets are powered by the new Rockchip RK3299 ARM Cortex-17 quad-core processor, but by the MediaTek’s 8-core chip, the MTK6592 ARM Cortex-A7 processor, says PbHz.

Here’s what you can expect from Pipo in the upcoming future. Most of these products will arrive on the Chinese market, but there’s a great possibility the new Pipo slates will show up in international re-seller sites, too.

Pipo Titanium T9

This tablet comes with an 8.9-inch screen and has a 1920 x 1200 pixel IPS display. Power is pumped by a 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core CPU fitted with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.

The battery placed inside to keep everything going is pretty big, 7300 mAh, so you can be sure you’ll be able to use this tablet for an extended period of time.

Furthermore, the tablet comes equipped with dual-cameras (13MP on the back and 2MP in the front), has support for 3G cellular networks, so adopters will be able to place phone calls from the slate. The product boasts a metal case, making the Pipo Titanium T9 look pretty stylish as well.

Pipo Platinum T10

Even if the name suggests this might be a 10-inch tablet, it’s actually a 7-inch one. In terms of specifications, the tablet has the same 1920 x 1200 pixel density and MTK6592 CPU under the hood. Everything remains the same in the photography department, with the only real difference being the smaller 3600 mAh battery.

Pipo is also showing a tablet powered by Rockchip’s new quad-core processor, which the company says uses less energy than the RK3188 ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core CPU, while offering a performance boost.

The slate has a 9.7-inch display and packs ARM Mali-T764 graphics with support for H.265 video playback.

There’s also a 10.1-inch model expected to appear on the market at some point, which boasts a high resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and is reportedly capable of supporting 4K video playback.

Another model with 8.9-inch screen and advanced Retina-like display (with 2048 x 1536 resolution) is also said to be in the pipeline.
