Nintendo's latest DS Lite comes in Noble Pink?

As just a few days ago, the little black & white Nintendo DS gaming console versions were launched on the European market, after they created a trend in Asia, and most of all in America, Nintendo unveils today its latest "Noble Pink" version of the DS Lite console, informs Tech Blog. The representatives said that the features remained unchanged.

As I said, the pink model comes after the console's great success. It seems that, only two days after its launching in the United States, Nintendo DS Lite had sold a stunning 136,500 units with many major retailers totally selling out. The Nintendo DS Lite has been selling so fast that it is even outperforming the 2003 launch of the Game Boy Advance SP by 12%.

As it weighs nearly 60g less than the original DS gaming console, and it is just two thirds of the DS' size, it can be better handled. It also comes with four settings meant for screen brightness adjustments, microphone repositioning for ease of use, and a larger and more comfortable stylus.

On the other hand, Nintendo DS Lite has really great features, besides all the ones the predecessor has, such as an advanced touch screen technology, allowing players to control the software with a stylus or even with their finger, dual screens, voice recognition and Wi-Fi capabilities.

This 'summerish' version will be launched on the Japanese retail market on July 20th at the price of $144.

It seems that this is Nintendo announcements week. I'm glad, because too many Sony PS3 rumors can kill you.
